Colorado CWRC §403.4 gives project teams two routes for protecting enclosed-attic, enclosed-rafter and underfloor ventilation openings: a listed ASTM E2886 vent or prescriptive noncombustible, corrosion-resistant mesh no larger than 1/8 inch.
