Both RidgeArmor options use metal mesh openings smaller than 1/8 inch and larger than 1/16 inch, balancing ember screening with ventilation.

Fit & installation
Match the component to the host vent manufacturer and model, roof pitch, ridge-slot width, required ventilation area and fastening method. Follow the current Premium Series instructions for panel dimensions, adjoining overlaps, extensions beyond each slot end and the reviewed host-vent detail. Calculate each separate vented run, allowing for transitions, cuts and field conditions. Maintain the specified attachment and open airflow paths, and retain installation photos. Professional installation is recommended. For conditions outside the installation detail, request a project review; the mesh component alone does not establish approval of the host vent or complete system. Confirm applicable project requirements with the building official.
