RidgeArmor Builder Series — Preformed 1/8-Inch Galvanized Ridge-Slot Panel

Preformed 27-gauge galvanized woven-mesh panels for compatible continuous ridge-vent assemblies in applicable WUI projects. Builder Series helps reduce wind-driven ember passage at the ridge slot and gives crews a consistent alternative to cutting and shaping loose roll mesh on the roof.

Coverage figures account for the specified 0.5-in. overlap at adjoining panels and the required 2-in. extension beyond both ends of the ridge slot. Separate ridge runs, transitions, cuts, and field conditions require a project-specific takeoff. Designed around small-opening, noncombustible metal-mesh attributes used in applicable prescriptive WUI provisions; verify the specific roof-vent assembly and local code requirements.
